To celebrate the close of the Year of Luigi, Kevin and Marc turned a Green Day song into an ode to everyone’s favorite plumber in green. You might have heard it at the end of episode 13, but we wanted to make a standalone, high quality version available to anyone who enjoyed it.
In the final episode of 2013, Kevin gives his review of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Marc travels back through many ages and seasons to review The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons for Our Portable Past. To wrap up the episode, the guys give out their first ever end of year awards and reminisce about the great year of portable gaming that 2013 was. On a purely tangential note, adult babies receive verbal abuse and the guys give The Year of Luigi a special sendoff.
This month, Emrys kicks things off with a preview of Blizzard’s upcoming CCG, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Kevin then recounts his experiences with nameless units and no strings attached in Rebirth of Fortune 2. Next, Emrys kills opposing armies in cold blood in Frozen Synapse for Android and Marc finds a softer side of the planet destroying weapon in Tiny Death Star. Finally, Kevin reminisces about Mario slapping aliens in the face with his superballs in Super Mario Land. This is the episode that will make all your Whipped Dreams come true.
